How The Rainbow Bridge Project Started

Bella was the start of it all, I got Bella in 2010 as a child. Bella was my first dog and the biggest part of me as a child growing up. She was with me through some of life's toughest moments. We shared lots of laughs, tears, and plenty of beautiful adventures along the way together. She was my sidekick, but most importantly the best companion a person could be blessed to have. Bella got to see me marry my childhood best friend Chester along the way through life's journey and got to be with my Grandpa a lot before he passed in April of 2023. Bella and Grandpa were the best of sidekicks too, not to mention partially because he spoiled her rotten with the pleasure's of the good ole' table scraps. Grandpa was always giving her plenty of those, along with her favorite belly rubs! Bella was a people person, and she knew how to make you laugh and smile in the uttermost ways you never could think possible. All of our good memories came together with family being together, and those that one dog could bring. Bella lived 13 beautiful years, before she gained her wings in 2023 not too long after Grandpa passed away. Bella gained her wings on August the 4th, 2023. Since Bella's passing, not only have I got to experience what it means to lose someone very important to me, but I have began to truly understand the true value of love through pictures. Grief is a hard thing everyone has to go through at some point in their life along the way, and we will all go through it at some point in time. Life is a very fragile thing, and it is a gift every single day to cherish. Since Bella's passing I created the rainbow bridge project in honor of her. As I know she will always be remembered, I want to always remember her this way. I hope by capturing photograph's of all these peoples beloved pet's, that they may find peace and comfort knowing they will always have a memory to cherish. I am so thankful to be a part of something so beautifully bittersweet, may God bless you all!
